Difficulty: Intermediate
Terrain: The first section is steep and the trail is covered by loose rocks. Once you reach the top it is soft dirt. Not too technical with just a couple of sections you need to use your hands to navigate up and down some rock ledges.
Distance: 9km
Gain: 450m
Time: 3-5hrs
Trail Running: Intermediate (difficult first section)
Views: views local mountains including the Lions. At the lookout, you have a great view of English Bay, Vancouver, Bowen Island, and beyond to Vancouver Island.
Top Essentials Required: 1-11
There is an option to also include Black Mountain onto your trip. Cabin lake is a nice spot to relax and even take a swim on a hot day. The hike does get busy so it is much nicer to go earlier. Watch out for Bears on the mountain.
